The first Birmingham Stallions home game is set for this Saturday at 3:00 PM at Protective Stadium. Spring football can be a tough sell for some fans, so we’ve put together a quick guide to help make your gameday experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Know Where to Park
If you’re looking for convenience, paid parking along 11th Avenue North is your best option. Expect to pay around $20, located at 2068 11th Ave N. Bring a debit or credit card.
For free parking, target the area around Barker Park and along 23rd Street North. From there, it’s a short walk to the stadium, especially convenient for entering near the 12th Avenue North gates.
Best Ticket Options
At the time of writing, there are a couple of ways to avoid additional fees typically associated with platforms like Ticketmaster.

• The Family Four Pack offers tickets at $23.36 each and includes a personal pizza from Papa Johns, with a minimum purchase of four tickets.
Where to Eat
If you plan on eating near Protective Stadium, try to arrive in Uptown between 12–1 PM. Good options include Southern Kitchen & Bar, Uptown Cantina, and Capella Pizzeria.
This is expected to be one of the highest-attended games of the season, so if possible, it’s best to eat before heading downtown.
What to Know About the Team
The Stallions have been the standard of spring football, winning three championships since the return of the league in 2022 and compiling an impressive 40–10 record over that span.
In his first year as head coach, AJ McCarron faces off against his former coach, Anthony Becht. Becht’s team enters the matchup at 3–0, while Birmingham sits at 1–2. Still, there’s plenty of season left—and no better time to get things turned around than in front of an expected crowd of 18,000+ fans.
Fans will also be treated to a halftime performance from Gucci Mane.
