For the first time, Auburn and Alabama will meet in a preseason exhibition as “The Feud” takes over Legacy Arena on Thursday, Oct. 22.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in downtown Birmingham.

The nearly 18,000-seat Legacy Arena will be split exactly in half with Auburn fans on one side and Alabama fans on the other, setting up a unique neutral-site atmosphere for one of the state’s biggest rivalries.

The exhibition means the Tigers and Crimson Tide are guaranteed to meet at least three times during the 2026-27 season.

Since Nate Oats arrived at Alabama in 2019, the Crimson Tide have recorded 170 wins, while Auburn has won 168, putting two of the SEC’s most successful programs of the era on the floor in Birmingham before the regular season even begins.
