The Birmingham Squadron are set to tip off their 5th season in Birmingham, playing once again at Legacy Arena at the BJCC. Their home opener is set for November 7.
The talent that has come through the Birmingham Squadron is criminally underreported. Former standouts include Jose Alvarado, Jared Harper, John Petty Jr., Kira Lewis Jr., Trey Jemison, Jordan Swing and Mo Bamba, all of whom played multiple games in Birmingham.
The 2025–26 Birmingham Squadron roster is beginning to take shape. Head Coach Joe Barrer takes over for TJ Saint, who joined the New York Knicks as an assistant coach. Former Squadron center Trey Jemison is also now a two-way player with the Knicks.
A major piece to the Squadron roster is set to return.
Per sources, Keion Brooks Jr., one of the top scorers on the Birmingham Squadron last season, is returning to Birmingham. Massive news for a mostly new roster.
