The Birmingham Stallions have the opportunity to make history this Sunday. If the Stallions win at Protective Stadium this weekend, the 3-peat champions will be headed to the UFL Championship. It won’t be easy.

That would be the 4th consecutive spring football championship game appearance by Birmingham’s professional football team. No other American professional football team has won 3 consecutive championships, and the Stallions are on the cusp of a 4th. One of the greatest dynasties in sports.

It would without a doubt put Birmingham Stallions head coach and leader of men, Skip Holtz, into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.

We nominated Coach Holtz for the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame after his second spring football championship and will continue to do so every year until he is rightfully inducted. No other coach has accomplished what Holtz has at the spring football level.

The Stallions boast a 7-3 record and are in the conference championship against Michigan despite Birmingham facing injuries up and down the roster.

At the QB1 position, the Birmingham Stallions have had 5 different quarterbacks take snaps this season. Most recently, J’Mar Smith has stepped up leading the Birmingham Stallions to victory in 3 of the past 4 games. Nicknamed “Ham Newton”, J’Mar Smith has proven he can still win at the professional level.

X.com user @EBRINDLEY pointed out that the Michigan Panthers have yet to beat the Birmingham Stallions in the modern era of spring football.

Get to Protective Stadium this Sunday at 2:00 PM to see if Birmingham can advance to their 4th Championship game. Discounted ticket link in bio.
